Drummer/Percussionist, Composer, Improviser.

He studied between 1998 and 2004 in the Musical Center of Ozzano dell’Emilia with G.Capitanio and Christian Rovatti.
From 2003 to 2008 he attended the private courses of Mauro Gherardi and the CPM in Milan with Max Furian, Walter Calloni and Christian Meyer.
In the following years he participated in jazz and improvisation workshops: Nuoro Jazz, Siena Jazz, Castellammare Jazz, Cemm (Marc Ducret, Bruno Chevillon), Monteombraro (Tristan Honsinger), Ivan Illich (Fabrizio Puglisi).
He started in 2007 an intense concert activity that led him to collaborate in Italy and abroad with many musicians including: David Murray, Ken Vandermark, Marc Ducret, Bruno Chevillon, Achille Succi, Chico Pinheiro, Daniele Camarda, Fabrizio Puglisi, Antonio Borghini, Pasquale Mirra, Tristan Honsinger, Don Byron, Steven Bernstein, Jonathan Finlayson, Piero Bittolo Bon, Alfonso Santimone, Domenico Caliri, Stefano Senni, Gabriele Evangelista, Carlo Atti, Guglielmo Pagnozzi, Stefano Risso, Silvia Bolognesi, Alessandro Bosetti.
He took part in the Human Rights Nights Film Festival of the ”Soweto Art Festival” playing in various South African cities: Johannesburg, Pretoria, Soweto, Saint Lucia. With the band Luther Blissett he toured England and the USA.
From 2012 to date he has participated in numerous festivals, including: Bologna Jazz, Piacenza Jazz, Gezzevino, Novara Jazz, Jazz On The Corner, Onirica Festival, Terre dell’acqua, Correggio Jazz, Sile Jazz Festival, Suoni dell’Appennino, Mantova Jazz (Arezzo), Lugo Music, Fano Jazz, Pisa Jazz, Notturni Festival (Tarquinia), Fara Music,Venezia Jazz, Jazz a Mira, Bonaventura Jazz, Horizons Jazz, Angelica Festival, Festival del Teatro Sociale di Stradella, Festival Arci Cremona, Jazz in it, Saxofollia Summer Camp (Vignola), Soweto Art Festival, Chicago Improvisers Music series, Modena Jazz, Euphonie Music, Festival delle Arti(Bologna), Il giardino della poesia (San Mauro Pascoli).
