Enrico Milani plays the cello. His musical training is mainly related to non-academic environments: music schools, youth orchestras, pop-rock ensembles. Over the years he has worked as a session player alongside a number of singer-songwriters (Iacampo, Erica Boschiero, Luca Ferraris) and the Stivalaccio Teatro company. Always passionate about classical music culture, to whose study he still applies himself at alternate times, he has been cultivating since more recent times an interest in all forms of experimental music and in particular in free improvisation, which he has deepened through attending workshops and writing his master’s thesis in Philosophical Sciences (Padua, 2020). These interests are brought into play in the musical projects in which he is currently active: Minimal Klezmer, Friedrich Micio, DOOOM Orchestra.
