Francesco Baiguera
Appears on:After studying classical and modern guitar, he graduated with honors in Jazz Guitar at the Conservatory of Brescia (Italy) attending with Sandro Gibellini, Simone Guiducci and Peo Alfonsi’s classes.
He collected several experiences in jazz ensembles and classical orchestras. Among these he performed, collaborated and recorded with: Seamus Blake, Achille Succi, Giovanni Falzone, Giulio Visibelli, Alberto Mandarini, Marco Vaggi, Fausto Beccalossi, Emanuele Maniscalco, Stefano D’Anna, Giulio Corini, Guido Bombardieri, Massimiliano Milesi, Corrado Guarino and others.
Besides prèludes a trio with Giacomo Papetti and ECM artist Emanuele Maniscalco where Baiguera is leader and composer, he is involved in several projects. Noteworthy, Nùes, a co-led duo with sardinian singer and viola da gamba player Silvia Lovicario, an experimental trio where he plays Bass VI and a guitar and sax duo with Massimiliano Milesi among others.
Furthermore, he often collaborates with artists or authors in live performances, readings and theatre shows.
He currently works as a music educator and he performs in clubs and festivals.
