Irene Piazza
Appears on:Irene Piazza is an Italian violinist based in Amsterdam, where she graduated in 2022 with teacher Vera Beths.
She is a passionate chamber music player, first violin of the Rijks string quartet, and an active orchestra musician, collaborating with orchestras as Rotterdam Philharmonic, Orchestra da Camera di Mantova and member of the Gustav Mahler youth orchestra in 2023.
However, her interest goes beyond the classical performance, with WORDS collective, she in fact explores improvisation, and has a master in interdisciplinary performance.
Irene performed in many prestigious halls in The Netherlands and in Europe, and shared the stage with great musicians such as Yuja Wang, Ilabelle Faust, Valentyna Lysycja, Shunske Sato, Jakub Hrůša, Jeffrey Tate and Olari Elts.
