Isabel Rößler
Appears on:Isabel Rößler is a jazz bassist and improviser. After studying music in Nuremberg and Tallinn, she moved to Berlin in 2019, where she is active in the city’s fluid improvisation scene. In addition to numerous collaborations with local and international artists, she has toured through Germany and Eastern Europe with her trio «Flut». Beyond purely musical creation, she worked with artists from the fields of poetry/language, object theater, dance/performance, fine art and stage visuals. Other current projects in which she is involved include: OBSiDiAN, Rupp/Rößler/Hall, Trespassing Rooms, SORBD, Brad Henkel Quartet, Red Color Trio, The Omniversal Earkestra. Musicians with whom she has played in various line-ups are: Christopher Kunz, Olaf Rupp, Anna Kaluza, Samuel Hall, Rieko Okuda, Brad Henkel, Jan Leipnitz, Vojta Drnek, Edith Steyer, Johannes Schleiermacher, Sofía Salvo, Florian Müller, Dag Magnus Narvesen, Daniel Erdmann, Tony Buck, Dan Peter Sundland, Girilal Baars, Axel Dörner, Liudas Mockūnas, Richard Scott, Karen Ng, Rudi Mahall.
