Professor of Trombone at the Conservatory of Papeete (Tahiti) since 1999.
From the north of France, he started his classical trombonist career at a young age in the Orchestras of Harmonies and Symphony Orchestras, then came the discovery of Improvised Music, Free Jazz and Contemporary Music.
He joined for two years the orchestras of A.R.F.I (Lyonnais collective) alongside Jean-Luc Cappozzo, Alain Gibert, Patrick Charbonnier, Maurice Merle, Jean Bolcato… before mooving to Polynesia.
Then come the meetings, on stage and in studio: Elton Dean, Paul Rutherford, AYO, the 4tet SAKAY, the duo Te Ti’ama with Christelle Séry, the duo FROM NOWHERE with Victoria JORDANOVA…
He develops to the cello, a musical action for the very young public as part of his duet with Christine Vinolo: Les Comptineurs de Tahiti (9 CD albums). The duo regularly work in the pediatric and neonatal (premature babies) departments of the Tahiti Hospital.
