Description
An eclectic, adventurous trio who artfully sidestep cliches from the typical sax-guitar-drums format. BATB flows through improvised works that seem carefully orchestrated while at the same time sound loose and spontaneous, barely hanging on to a hodgepodge aesthetic lost somewhere between noise, pop, and jazz. The result is an original, fresh, and thoroughly well-done eponymous record from three musicians creatively working on the fringes of multiple genres.
