Description

The album Visions is a tribute to the work of William Blake, exploring the intersection between poetry and music. Inspired by Blake’s verse, the project began with a spark of inspiration that led to a deep exploration of his world. Over nearly four years, the artists have sought to bring Blake’s poetic visions to life, integrating his words into a unique musical language that blends song form and improvisation.

Visions takes the listener on a symbolic journey through Blake’s work, from birth to transcendence, capturing archetypal themes through carefully chosen texts and compositions. The selection of poems and musical pieces wasn’t methodical but guided by intuition and a natural alignment between sound and Blake’s imagery. The album’s title reflects not only Blake’s dual artistry in poetry and illustration but also celebrates his dedication to the power of imagination and visionary insight.

This anthology, rather than being a systematic collection, is a creative homage that evokes the spirit of Blake’s “cleansed doors of perception,” where imagination reveals the infinite.
